10 Apr Closed gate fold leaflets – we can do it!

Ever suffered from those nasty ‘closed gate fold’ design and printing problems on leaflets?

You know what I mean? You’re a business client or marketing department and you would like to do something a bit different to the norm with a proposed promotional leaflet. You need the leaflet to fold so that the two sides meet in the centre, a bit like a ‘gate’. You would then like the whole product to fold in two again, ‘closing’ the gate to minimise rack space, as per a standard A5 or third-A4 leaflet. When the end user opens up the ‘gate’ you would like the full inside of the leaflet design to ‘reveal’ itself as a spread.

…or you’re a designer or agency that’s just designed a leaflet in this fashion, but you can’t find a printer that can produce it, due to the complex nature of the fold.

…or maybe you’re a printer, or print finisher that doesn’t have the resources to produce this type of fold.
