Commissioned by the Medici, this is a complex and much interpreted painting which depicts the arrival of Spring. The figures represented (from left to right) are the Three Graces, Venus – the Goddess of Love, floating above her is her son Amor (Cupid), next to Venus is Flora – the Goddess of Spring and then the nymph Chloris, who is pursued by Zephyrus the God of Wind. Unfortunately due to space constraints I had to leave off Mercury who appeared of the three graces in the original painting.

This was produced on the textured finish wall covering and gives it a fantastic, almost tapestry feel to the wall and, despite its’ size, it was one of the easiest wallpapers I’ve ever put up.
