17 Oct Scarborough Engineering Week

Scarborough Spa Complex was recently home to the second Scarborough
Engineering Week. In addition to producing stand displays for Dale Power Solutions, Unison and BluebirdVehicles, adverset were proud to be commissioned with the production of giant banners for the event.

These included 2 x 7 metre ‘stageside’ banners and a 9 metre entranceway exterior banner.

The main focus of the event was to highlight career opportunities within
engineering and as such just under 1,000 primary, secondary and higher
education pupils passed through the 3-day exhibition.

Peter Wilkinson, co-organiser of the event pointed out: “It’s important
for Scarborough to have a sustainable future in the niche market of 21st
century engineering”.

A celebration dinner was enjoyed by exhibitors and guests, where
sponsors of the event were praised for their efforts.
